Wingate & Finchley are based at the Maurice Rebak Stadium in north London. Formed through a merger, the club has a strong community identity and a long record of competing in the Isthmian Premier. The Blues are known for their compact ground, youth development and north London non-league roots.
Wingate & Finchley play at The Maurice Rebak Stadium on Summers Lane in Finchley, north London. It is a compact, traditional non-league ground with a strong community feel and good public transport links from central London.
The stadium has a distinctive art-deco-style main stand, which is set back from the pitch but offers the best seated view. There is also covered standing behind one goal, open standing and pitchside hard standing around other parts of the ground. The clubhouse, bar and food areas are central to the matchday experience.
The ground has also had recent safety changes following the tragic death of Chichester City player Billy Vigar after a collision with the former concrete perimeter wall. The wall was replaced with safer rebound mesh fencing and additional run-off space was created, so the ground supporters visit now is not exactly the same as older guide descriptions of the pitch perimeter.
Segregation is not normally expected for routine Wingate & Finchley league fixtures. The club’s visiting fans guide presents the ground as an accessible, welcoming venue, and most away supporters should expect to enter normally and mix around the stadium.
For ordinary Isthmian Premier matches, away fans can use the main stand, covered terrace, open standing and clubhouse facilities unless the club announces otherwise. The covered terrace behind the goal is useful in poor weather, while the main stand is best for those wanting a seated side-on view.
If a fixture requires segregation or special crowd management, Wingate & Finchley or the visiting club should publish match-specific information. In that situation, away supporters should follow the stated entrance, stewarding and facility arrangements rather than assuming free movement around the ground.

The Maurice Rebak Stadium is fairly easy to reach from central London. The nearest Underground station is West Finchley on the Northern line High Barnet branch, around a 20-minute walk from the ground. Supporters should check the route before travelling, especially for evening fixtures.
Drivers should note that the ground is within the London ULEZ area, so vehicle compliance should be checked before setting off. Parking is available mainly on nearby residential streets, and the club specifically asks visitors not to use Finchley Rugby Club’s car park. Park considerately and allow time to find a space.
Inside the ground, the main stand gives the best seated view despite being set back from the pitch. The covered terrace is better for a traditional standing experience and atmosphere. Dogs are actively welcomed at the Maurice Rebak Stadium, so do not be surprised to see supporters with dogs around the ground and clubhouse areas.
Wingate & Finchley sell tickets online and on the gate. The club’s visiting fans guide lists Adults at £14, or £13 online, with cheaper advance prices also applying to concession categories. Recent match information has listed Concessions at £9, or £8 online, 10-16 year olds at £5, and Under-10s, NHS staff and carers free.
Buying online in advance is usually cheaper and helps avoid queues, but pay on the gate remains available for many fixtures at this level. Supporters should check the club’s ticket page before travelling because prices can change by season, competition and fixture type.
Away fans normally buy in the same way as home supporters unless a specific away allocation or segregated fixture is announced. Neutrals wanting the best view should use the main stand, while supporters wanting atmosphere should head for the covered terrace or busier standing areas.
Supporters should follow Wingate & Finchley stewarding instructions and normal football ground rules: no pyrotechnics, no pitch encroachment, no throwing objects, no discriminatory behaviour and no items likely to cause danger or disruption.
Following the serious 2025 safety incident at the ground, supporters should be especially mindful of pitchside safety, perimeter fencing and any areas marked as restricted. The club has altered the pitch perimeter and increased run-off space, and visitors should not lean on, climb or interfere with barriers or fencing.
Visitors should park considerately on nearby residential streets and must not use Finchley Rugby Club’s car park. Dogs are welcomed, but owners should keep them under control and be considerate of other spectators. If segregation is introduced for any fixture, supporters must remain in their allocated area.
Wingate & Finchley’s visiting information confirms that the ground has limited free blue badge parking. Supporters who need accessible parking or assistance should contact the club before travelling because spaces are limited and should not be assumed on the day.
The Maurice Rebak Stadium is a compact ground with a mix of stand seating, covered standing and hard standing. Wheelchair users and supporters with reduced mobility should ask in advance about the most suitable entrance and viewing position, especially if a larger crowd or special fixture arrangement is expected.
West Finchley station is the closest Underground option, but it is around a 20-minute walk away. Supporters with mobility needs may prefer a taxi or lift for the final part of the journey. Carers have recently been listed as free in ticket information, but this should be checked for the specific fixture before travelling.
Wingate & Finchley do not advertise regular public stadium tours of the Maurice Rebak Stadium. The ground is a working non-league football venue with clubhouse and community use rather than a stadium-tour attraction.
Supporters wanting to see the ground should arrive early on matchday when the clubhouse, bar and spectator areas are open. Any special access for community groups, sponsors, media or private visits should be arranged directly with Wingate & Finchley FC.
