Hereford FC were formed by supporters after the collapse of Hereford United and carry the city’s football identity at Edgar Street. The Bulls have one of the larger supports at Step 2, strong FA Cup heritage through their predecessor club and a deep connection with Herefordshire football.
Edgar Street, currently known as the MandM Edgar Street Stadium, is one of the most historic and recognisable grounds in National League North. It sits right in the centre of Hereford, close to the railway station, city centre pubs and car parks, giving it a very different feel to out-of-town modern grounds.
The ground is a mix of historic character and practical modern use. The Merton Stand provides seated accommodation along one side, while the Meadow End is the traditional home terrace and usually the loudest part of the stadium. The Len Weston Stand and other areas complete the current working layout, while the Blackfriars End has long been a redevelopment issue rather than a normal spectator end.
Edgar Street has a proper old football-ground feel: close to town, close to the pitch, and full of character. It is not the most modern stadium in the league, but it remains one of the division's most interesting away days and can generate a strong atmosphere when Hereford are well supported.
Away arrangements at Edgar Street are fixture dependent. For segregated games, visiting supporters are normally given a designated away section with access controlled by the club and stewards. Allocations can vary depending on the expected away following.
Away fans should check the fixture information carefully, because Hereford can operate both advance online sales and ticket office sales depending on the match. For some segregated fixtures, away supporters have been told that tickets can be purchased online in advance or from the ticket office on the day.
Radfords, the club bar at the ground, often welcomes away supporters, but this can change for higher-profile fixtures. Away fans should not assume they will be allowed into home areas, bars or terraces without checking the match-specific guidance.

Edgar Street is one of the best town-centre away days in the division. The ground is close to the railway station, the city centre and several pay-and-display car parks, so it suits both train travellers and drivers.
There is no general supporter parking at the stadium, so drivers should use the large council pay-and-display car park adjacent to the ground or other city-centre car parks within walking distance. Avoid blocking nearby residential streets or business access.
For atmosphere, the Meadow End is the main home area and is not the place for away colours unless the match is unsegregated and guidance allows free movement. Neutral supporters wanting comfort should look at seated areas, while those wanting the classic Edgar Street experience will appreciate the terraced parts of the ground.
Hereford sell match tickets in advance online and from the club shop. The club states that online purchase is the quickest and easiest method, with e-tickets available to print at home or show on a mobile device at the turnstile.
Away supporters should check the match information before buying. Segregated fixtures may have specific away allocations and different instructions for online sales, ticket office sales and entry points.
For neutral supporters, seated areas are the safest choice for comfort and a clear view, while the Meadow End is the main home atmosphere area. If reserved seating is in operation, supporters must sit in the seat allocated on their ticket.
Hereford publish detailed ground regulations for Edgar Street. Where reserved seating is used, supporters must occupy the seat allocated to them and must not move to another part of the ground without permission from a steward, club officer or police officer.
The club's regulations also state that standing in seated areas while play is in progress is not permitted, and persistent standing in seated areas may result in ejection.
Away supporters should follow the match-specific segregation rules. Access to home terraces, seated areas or Radfords bar can change depending on fixture classification and stewarding arrangements.
Hereford provide disabled and carer ticket information through the club. Disabled supporters are required to pay the full price for their age category, while supporters with qualifying documentation may be entitled to one free carer ticket.
Supporters may be asked for proof of disability or carer status when entering the stadium, so documentation should be brought on the day where required.
Because Edgar Street is an older ground with different stand types and fixture-by-fixture segregation, disabled supporters should contact the club before travelling to confirm the best entrance, viewing area and parking arrangements.
Regular public stadium tours are not normally advertised at Edgar Street. The ground has plenty of history and character, but Hereford do not appear to operate a regular public stadium tour in the way larger professional clubs do.
Anyone interested in special access, group visits or heritage-related enquiries should contact Hereford FC directly, but supporters should not rely on a scheduled tour being available.
