Stadium Overview

Longmead Stadium, currently known as the Yeomans Community Stadium, is Tonbridge Angels' home on Darenth Avenue. It is a traditional non-league ground with a mixture of seating, covered standing, open areas and clubhouse facilities.

The main stand provides the principal seated accommodation, while covered and open standing areas around the ground give supporters different viewing options. The North Stand and surrounding areas are often important parts of the matchday layout, especially when segregation is used.

For neutral supporters, the main stand offers the best comfort and side-on view. Standing areas provide the more traditional non-league feel. Longmead is a practical Step 2 venue rather than a modern bowl, and it can produce a good atmosphere for local games, cup ties and matches with strong away followings.

Away End

Away arrangements at Tonbridge Angels vary significantly by fixture. Some matches are unsegregated, with away supporters encouraged to buy in advance but able to use the ground in a more general-admission way. Other fixtures are segregated, with visiting supporters directed to the North turnstiles and a defined away section.

Because of that variation, away fans should not rely on previous visits. For certain fixtures, away tickets may need to be bought in advance and may not be available on the turnstiles. For other matches, cash and card turnstile payments can be accepted subject to availability.

If segregation is in place, away supporters should use the North turnstiles and remain in the allocated section. If the match is unsegregated, away supporters may have wider access to the ground and clubhouse, but this should always be checked before travelling.

Matchday Advice

Longmead is a ground where checking the match information before travelling is important. Tonbridge can operate both segregated and unsegregated fixtures, and ticket availability on the gate can vary. For matches against larger away followings or local rivals, buying in advance is strongly recommended.

If driving, allow time for the approach to Darenth Avenue and parking. If travelling by train, Tonbridge station is the main rail option, but the ground is not immediately next door, so allow time for the walk or local transport.

Inside the ground, the main stand is the best choice for seating and comfort. Covered standing gives the more traditional experience. Away supporters should arrive early if using the North turnstiles for a segregated match, as entrance and movement around the ground may be more controlled.

Tickets

Tonbridge Angels sell tickets online through a designated ticketing platform and also use match-specific instructions depending on the fixture. For some games, advance booking is encouraged but turnstile payment is available by cash or card subject to capacity. For other games, particularly segregated or high-demand fixtures, away supporters may be required to buy in advance.

For neutral supporters, the main stand is the best option for a seated view, while the terraces are better for atmosphere. If seating is limited or expected to be busy, buy early and arrive in good time.

Away supporters should check whether the fixture is segregated. If an away-only ticket category is issued, use it. If tickets are all-ticket or advance-only, do not travel expecting to pay at the gate.

Stadium Rules

Tonbridge Angels apply standard football ground regulations, including ticket checks, steward instructions, restrictions on alcohol, bans on pyrotechnics, no pitch encroachment and no abusive or discriminatory behaviour.

If segregation is in operation, away supporters must use the correct entrance and remain in the away section. Access to clubhouse facilities, bars, food outlets and toilets may differ from unsegregated matches.

Supporters should also follow parking and stewarding advice around Darenth Avenue, especially for higher-attendance fixtures where traffic and pedestrian movement can be busier.

Accessibility

Tonbridge Angels have step-free paved access from the turnstiles to the main stand area, where ground-level seating is available. Accessible toilets are located at the north end of the ground and can be reached by the paved perimeter path. There is also ramped access to the clubhouse.

A disabled viewing platform is available, and supporters requiring disabled access or seating should contact the club or ticket organiser in advance, particularly when a fixture is segregated or high demand.

Away disabled supporters should check arrangements early if the away allocation is accessed via the North turnstiles, as the most suitable accessible viewing position may need to be arranged separately from the main away standing area.

Stadium Tours

Tonbridge Angels do not appear to operate regular public stadium tours of Longmead Stadium / the Yeomans Community Stadium. The ground is mainly a working football and community venue rather than a stadium-tour attraction.

Supporters interested in group visits, community access or non-matchday arrangements should contact the club directly. For most fans, attending a Tonbridge Angels home match is the practical way to experience Longmead.
