Stadium Overview

Damson Park, currently known as the ARMCO Arena, is a compact and practical National League ground on the edge of Solihull, close to Birmingham Airport and the Jaguar Land Rover plant. It is not a traditional town-centre stadium, and the setting gives it a more industrial and out-of-town feel than many grounds in the division.

The ground is fairly simple to understand. The main stand side contains the principal seated areas, club offices, hospitality and directors facilities. Behind one goal is the Draintech Terrace, while the Damson Lane end has a small covered stand with a mixture of seating and standing. The Airport side is more open and exposed, with views towards the airport area.

For neutrals, the seated side of the ground is usually the best option for view and comfort. The terraced areas give the more traditional non-league experience, but parts of the ground are open to the weather. The stadium is tidy and functional rather than grand, and matchday atmosphere depends heavily on the size of crowd and whether segregation is in place.

Away End

Away supporters at Solihull Moors are usually housed in the Draintech Terrace behind one of the goals, with some seated provision in the side stand depending on the fixture and allocation. Some away allocations have also referred to sections such as The Forest Stand or away seating along the Gas Centre Stand side, so supporters should always check the match-specific guide.

The away section is straightforward and close to the pitch, but it is not the largest or most modern away end in the division. Terrace space may be partly exposed, so visiting fans should dress for the weather, especially for evening games or winter fixtures.

For larger followings, Solihull may operate stricter segregation and more specific turnstile arrangements. Away supporters should use the entrance advertised by their own club or Solihull Moors and should not assume they can move freely around the ground once inside.

Matchday Advice

Damson Park is easier by car than by rail, but on-site parking is limited and can fill quickly. Solihull Moors state that matchday parking is available in limited numbers and is unreserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so drivers should arrive early and have a backup plan.

The ground is close to Birmingham Airport, but that does not make it especially simple for train users. Supporters arriving by rail will normally need onward travel by bus, taxi or local connection rather than expecting a short station walk. The location beside major roads and industrial sites also means walking routes may feel less natural than at town-centre grounds.

For neutrals, the side seating is the best choice. Away supporters should check whether their allocation includes seating as well as terracing, and should buy the correct away ticket. Because food, bar access and movement around the ground can vary with segregation, it is worth reading the club's matchday information before travelling.

Tickets

Solihull Moors tickets are normally sold online through the club ticketing system, with prices and allocations confirmed on a match-by-match basis. Away supporters should check whether tickets are being sold by Solihull Moors or through their own club, as arrangements can vary depending on the opposition.

Away fans should select the designated away area only, usually the away terrace behind the goal with any additional seating clearly advertised. For fixtures with larger followings, advance purchase is recommended because matchday sales and turnstile arrangements may be restricted.

For home or neutral supporters, the seated side areas give the best view and comfort. Standing areas are better for supporters who want a more traditional terrace experience. If seating is important, tickets should be bought early because seated provision at Damson Park is more limited than at larger grounds.

Stadium Rules

Damson Park operates standard football ground regulations, with stewarded entry, ticket checks and possible searches. Supporters should enter through the correct home or away turnstiles and remain in the appropriate section when segregation is in place.

Flares, smoke devices, fireworks, alcohol brought into the ground, glass bottles, weapons and other dangerous items are not permitted. Large flags, banners, drums or musical instruments should be checked with the club before travelling.

Parking rules around the stadium should be followed carefully. On-site parking is limited and supporters should not park in private industrial areas, access roads or nearby sites unless they are clearly permitted for football parking.

Accessibility

Solihull Moors provide limited accessible parking at Damson Park. The club states that there are eight accessible parking spaces, available on an unreserved first-come, first-served basis, and that these are within around 10 metres of the stadium entry point.

Supporters requiring wheelchair spaces, companion tickets, accessible seating or specific assistance should contact the club before travelling. This is particularly important for away supporters, because the ordinary away allocation may be terrace-based and not suitable for every supporter.

The ground is relatively compact once inside, but parts of the spectator accommodation and surrounding approaches may be less straightforward than at a modern purpose-built stadium. Supporters with mobility needs should arrange entry, viewing and parking details in advance.

Stadium Tours

There does not appear to be a regular public stadium tour programme at Damson Park. Solihull Moors publish matchday and ticketing information, but routine bookable stadium tours are not clearly advertised.

Supporters interested in a private visit, group access or community arrangement should contact Solihull Moors directly. For most visitors, the realistic way to experience the ARMCO Arena is by attending a match rather than through a formal tour.
