Stadium Overview

The Brewery Field is Spennymoor Town's historic home on Wood Vue and has a proper old North East non-league feel. It is close to Spennymoor town centre and has developed steadily into one of the more established Step 2 grounds in the region.

The ground has a capacity of over 4,000, with seating, covered standing and open standing areas. The main stand and clubhouse areas provide the principal facilities, while the rest of the ground gives supporters a choice between sheltered and open views. The Jason Ainsley Fan Zone and club facilities add to the matchday feel around the ground.

The Brewery Field is a practical, atmospheric ground rather than a modern bowl. It is usually straightforward to visit, but for larger away followings or local fixtures, segregation, ticketing and entry points can become more specific.

Away End

Away fans are not usually segregated at The Brewery Field, but segregation can be introduced for specific fixtures. When segregation is used, away supporters have commonly been placed in the Tees Crescent area, which gives visiting fans a defined section of the ground.

Spennymoor's own visiting supporter information states that visiting fans can enter through either the Wood Vue turnstiles on the south-east corner of the ground or the Tees Crescent turnstiles on the south-west corner, depending on the match arrangements.

For non-segregated fixtures, away supporters can usually enjoy the ground in a more relaxed non-league way. For larger followings, check whether the Tees Crescent entrance or a specific away section is being used before travelling.

Matchday Advice

The Brewery Field is a strong traditional away day, especially for supporters who enjoy proper non-league grounds with covered and open standing options. It is close enough to Spennymoor town centre for pre-match options, but parking around the ground can still be busy.

If the fixture is not segregated, visiting supporters can usually enter through the standard turnstiles and choose their preferred viewing area. If the match is segregated, check whether Wood Vue or Tees Crescent is being used for away entry.

For atmosphere, the covered standing areas are usually best. Neutral supporters wanting a calmer view should choose seating where available. In poor weather, avoid relying on open standing unless you are dressed for it.

Tickets

Spennymoor Town tickets are usually available online in advance, with cash and card payment at the turnstiles also available for some non-segregated fixtures. Visiting club information for recent games has confirmed both advance online sales and turnstile payment.

Away supporters should check whether the fixture is segregated. If it is not segregated, ticketing is usually more relaxed. If segregation is in place, away fans should use the correct entrance and any specific away ticket category issued for that match.

For neutral supporters, seating is best for comfort, while the standing areas give the stronger Brewery Field atmosphere. Arriving early is sensible if you want shelter or a preferred standing position.

Stadium Rules

Spennymoor Town operate standard stadium rules at The Brewery Field. Supporters should follow steward instructions, use the correct Wood Vue or Tees Crescent entrance and remain in the correct section if segregation is in force.

At non-segregated fixtures, movement is usually more relaxed, but supporters should still respect home areas, stewarding instructions and any temporary restrictions introduced for the match.

If entering via Tees Crescent or Wood Vue, use the route stated in the club's match information rather than assuming both entrances will be available for every fixture.

Accessibility

Spennymoor Town accessibility arrangements should be checked with the club before travelling. The Brewery Field has a mixture of seating, covered standing and open standing, so the best viewing position will depend on individual access needs and whether the fixture is segregated.

The Wood Vue and Tees Crescent turnstiles give different access points into the ground. Disabled supporters should contact the club in advance to confirm which entrance is most suitable and whether any parking or seating assistance can be arranged.

Away supporters with mobility needs should be especially careful to check arrangements if the Tees Crescent area is being used as a segregated away section.

Stadium Tours

Regular public stadium tours are not normally advertised at The Brewery Field. The ground has history and character, but Spennymoor Town do not appear to operate a scheduled public stadium tour like larger professional clubs.

Supporters interested in community visits, group access or special non-matchday arrangements should contact the club directly.
